Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to assist patients in improving mobility, strength, and function
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Jersey
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work day shift hours and meet a 30-hour weekly schedule requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
