Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional improvement
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Washington
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a SNF or long-term care environment
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation requirements and therapy productivity standards
