AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Greenbrae, California, 94904!
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapy services to help patients improve mobility, restore function, increase strength, and maximize independence.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitative care to residents recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or age-related conditions.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, strengthening exercises, and functional mobility interventions
Monitor patient progress during treatment sessions and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safe transfer strategies
Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and assist with discharge planning
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving mobility, restoring function, and enhancing quality of life
Requirements
Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Required: Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
