Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 30 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions to patients to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Jersey
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work day shift hours

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
