Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Long Term Care

Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's plan of care
- Monitor and record patient progress throughout the course of treatment
- Report treatment results and patient updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Deliver care within a Long Term Care setting in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Active Texas PTA license or a compact state license recognized in Texas
- Ability to work day shift in a Long Term Care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in a Long Term Care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Familiarity with documentation and reporting standards in a therapy environment
