Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's plan of care
Monitor and record patient progress throughout the course of treatment
Report treatment results and patient updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Deliver care within a Long Term Care setting, supporting the functional and rehabilitative needs of patients
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience (required)
Active Texas state license or a compact license valid for practice in Texas (required)
Demonstrated ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working in a Long Term Care (LTC) environment
Familiarity with documentation and progress reporting standards in a rehabilitation setting
