Key Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a supervising Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Michigan or ability to obtain prior to start
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work a day-shift schedule with a 35-hour weekly guarantee
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
