Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient orthopedic physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, targeting a productivity expectation of 90% and 55+ visits per week
• Manage a caseload of 12+ patient visits per day, with appointments scheduled every 30 minutes and an average treatment time of 60 minutes
• Treat a diverse patient population including older adults, post-operative patients, general orthopedic patients, adolescents, and sports medicine patients across a broad range of diagnoses
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation using the NextGen documentation system, supported by a purpose-built AI documentation scribe tool
• Collaborate with a supportive clinic team including Physical Therapists, a Rehab Aide, and a Patient Experience Coordinator
• Float to additional clinic locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Virginia
• Ability to meet productivity expectations of 90% and 55+ visits per week
• Proficiency or willingness to learn the NextGen documentation system
• Ability to work a 5x8 day schedule within clinic hours of Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1+ year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions including post-operative care, sports medicine, and general musculoskeletal diagnoses
