Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs in a long-term care setting
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment
- Report treatment results and patient updates to the supervising physical therapist
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience
- Active Texas state license or valid compact license
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Familiarity with developing and following personalized patient care plans
