Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment at Lanham, MD. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive rehab setting and contribute to improving patients’ mobility and quality of life.
Assignment Details:
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours/week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in delivering treatment plans
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
- Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of PTA experience
- Active Maryland PTA License
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Previous rehab or SNF experience preferred
