Contract (14 Weeks) | Days | 30 Hours Guaranteed per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams
