Key Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other prescribed interventions to patients
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Jersey
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an outpatient, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
