Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Long Term Care

Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's plan of care
- Monitor and record patient progress throughout the course of treatment
- Report treatment results and patient updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience required
- Active Texas state license or compact license required
- Must be able to work within a long term care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a long term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Familiarity with documentation and reporting standards in a therapy setting
