Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans within an outpatient therapy setting
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and care team regarding patient status and any changes in condition
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with applicable standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required; compact license accepted at start but permanent Texas licensure must be obtained promptly
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Must meet credentialing and contract QA requirements prior to assignment start
• Candidates who have worked in a permanent or PRN capacity at this facility within the past year are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume outpatient rehabilitation environment
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific workflows and protocols
