Key Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Document patient progress, treatment notes, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist, interdisciplinary team members, and patients regarding care and progress
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Virginia
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift in an onsite skilled nursing facility environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation and compliance requirements
