Key Responsibilities- Implement components of patient care plans and obtain data related to treatments provided
- Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to modify care as necessary
- Assist patients with stretching, exercise, and balance training techniques
- Communicate with patients and families to identify appropriate at-home care techniques
- Transport and assist patients safely to and from the physical therapy area
- Complete administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate paperwork
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Washington
- Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience
- Long Term Care (LTC) or rehabilitation setting experience
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working with patients across a broad range of ages and care needs
- Familiarity with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
