Key Responsibilities- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to patients in a skilled nursing or care facility setting
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress
- Float between designated facility locations as required
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work a day shift schedule with a 35-hour weekly guarantee
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
- Experience in a float or multi-site staffing capacity
