Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and progress
- Adhere to all facility policies, including identification and badging requirements at all times while on site
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Mexico
- Current state or federally issued photo identification required
- Must comply with facility badging and identification policies at all times
- Ability to meet a 35-hour weekly guarantee schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation facility setting
- Familiarity with New Mexico state healthcare compliance and registry requirements
