Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising PT's plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status updates and clinical findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Ability to follow established treatment plans and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing physical therapy services

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
