Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient care and treatment plans within an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other prescribed physical therapy interventions under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status, progress, and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Pennsylvania (permanent state license required; compact license alone is not sufficient)
- Prior experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a relevant clinical setting
- Ability to meet facility credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
- Candidates must not have worked at this facility in a permanent or PRN capacity within the past year
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
