Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans as established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and any changes in condition in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and goals
• Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior contract or travel therapy experience
• Familiarity with SNF documentation and compliance requirements
