Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 8 hours per day, 5 days per week | General start time between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM | Weekend rotation every 4 weeks
Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy assistant services within a Medical Surgical Acute care setting
Deliver patient care in alignment with facility protocols and treatment plans established by supervising Physical Therapists
Document patient progress and treatment notes using Cerner EMR
Potential to float to the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) as needed
Adhere to facility dress code and operational standards throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license valid in the state of Rhode Island
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Acute care or hospital-based experience
Proficiency with Cerner EMR or ability to quickly adapt to the platform
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a Medical Surgical Acute hospital setting
Prior experience floating to rehabilitation units within an acute care environment
Travel healthcare assignment experience
