Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing individualized patient treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient rehabilitation and functional recovery
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and responses to therapy in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and goals
• Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Missouri or eligibility to obtain
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar post-acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract therapy experience
• Familiarity with SNF documentation and Medicare compliance requirements
