Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Winter Haven, FL

Position Summary

Join a team that’s making a real difference. We’re hiring a licensed PTA to work with one of our trusted clients in an outpatient setting in Winter Haven, FL. The PTA will support patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries by assisting with treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, progress documentation, and patient education under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Florida State PTA license required to start the position.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal settings preferred.
• Ability to perform therapeutic exercises, modalities, gait training, and assist with functional mobility as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Effective documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.
