Job Summary:
The Physicist position is located in San Luis Obispo, California. Job Details:
- Certifications: Certified American Board Medical Physicist (ABMP) or Certified American Board Radiology (ABR) are required.
- Education Requirements: Relevant certification and licensure as specified.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must have a valid California license or certification uploaded within the last two weeks.
- Years of Experience: 2 years of experience required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications from AHA or ARC, applicable licensure, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include providing care to adult and geriatric patients receiving radiation treatments, acting as a member of the radiation therapy planning team, and supporting quality assurance efforts. The position requires familiarity with specialized equipment such as Truebeam, GE CT, Eclipse, Superficial TX, and ARIA #Tier3.
