Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse position in a large Level I adult trauma hospital. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients. The RN utilizes specialized knowledge and clinical skills to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/26/2026 to 01/23/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact RN license, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Experience in pediatric intensive care nursing is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Additional related education or experience in pediatric critical care is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The RN is responsible for evaluating patient responses, adjusting care plans accordingly, providing clinical documentation, and participating in unit or facility leadership. The role may include supervising staff, supporting education, and engaging in quality improvement activities. Floating to other pediatric areas may be required to meet staffing needs.
