This position involves providing specialized critical care for pediatric patients from birth through 18 years of age, with a focus on hematology and oncology. The role requires adaptability to staffing needs within the pediatric critical care and hematology/oncology units.
Job Details
Position Description: ASAP start PICU RN needed for rotating shifts or nights only, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); valid nursing license; bachelors degree in nursing or associates degree with relevant experience; 4 years of pediatric intensive care experience; specific experience caring for pediatric cancer and therapies; familiarity with EPICs Beacon platform; located in the geographical area suitable for the assignment.
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The candidate should have comprehensive experience in pediatric critical care and hematology/oncology, working with all pediatric cancers and therapies, and be comfortable operating as part of a small, specialized team. Flexibility in staffing assignments between PICU and hematology/oncology as needed.
