Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Minneapolis, MN. This role requires providing family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in a critical care setting. The position involves floating between two hospitals as needed, with opportunities for flexible assignments and schedules.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Minnesota RN license or Minnesota temporary permit for RN, BLS certification, PALS certification, and 2 years of PICU nursing experience which includes the ability to care for pre-operative and immediate post-operative PICU surgical patients as well as trauma patients, or 2 years of pediatric CVICU nursing experience and competence in caring for pre-operative, immediate post-operative cardiac surgical patients, and pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The successful candidate will coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients, utilizing the nursing process. They will be accountable for professional practice, including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed collaboratively with other members of the health care team.
