Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in a healthcare setting. The position involves providing specialized family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, and may require floating between multiple hospitals as needed. The role supports a dynamic team environment with responsibilities aligned to patient care, clinical assessment, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Straight nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license or Minnesota Temporary Permit for RN, BLS certification, PALS certification, and at least 18 months of PICU nursing experience, including the ability to care for pre-operative and immediate post-operative PICU surgical and trauma patients, or 18 months of pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) nursing experience, with competence in caring for pre-operative, immediate post-operative cardiac surgical patients, and pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients.
• Responsibilities: Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
• Start Date: 10/19/2026, with orientation scheduled on 8/10 and potentially 8/24 (pending approval).
• End Date: 01/02/2027.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Experience Requirement: 2 years of relevant pediatric ICU experience or pediatric CVICU experience.
