**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel RN - PICU!** **Job Description:** - Join an extraordinary team committed to providing exceptional care in a fast-paced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)! - Location: 3G, 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC - Work Schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM - Number of Beds: 9 - Patient Ratios: - PICU: 1 RN to 1-2 patients - Stepdown: 1 RN to 2-3 patients - Enjoy a dynamic work environment with dedicated support: - Unit staffing includes Hospital Unit Coordinators (HUC) from 9 AM - 9 PM. - Share the tech staff with PICU for optimal efficiency. - Equipment & Technology: - Utilize the latest Alaris pumps for patient care. - Efficiently document with Cerner system. - Scheduling Highlights: - Must work 3 weekends within a 6-week schedule. - Floating Policy: Flexibility to float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed. - Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year PICU experience required. - Must hold PALS certification. - Clinical Skills Required: - IV starts - Caths - Holding for lumbar punctures (LPs) - Central line dressing changes - Hemodynamic monitoring - Trach care - Tube feeding and placement - ICP monitoring - Ventilator management - Dress Code: - All navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
