If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a heart for pediatric care, this is the role for you! #### Job Description: - **Location:** 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM - **Unit Name:** PICU - **Number of Beds:** 9 - **Patient Ratios:** - PICU: 1 RN to 1-2 patients - Stepdown: 1 RN to 2-3 patients - **Equipment Used:** Alaris pumps - **Documentation System:** Cerner - **Unit Staffing:** - Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) available from 9 AM to 9 PM - Shared tech support with PICU - **Scheduling Requirements:** - Must work 3 weekends within a 6-week schedule - **Floating Policy:** May float to Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) - **Experience Requirements:** - Minimum of 1-year PICU experience - **Certifications Required:** PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - **Dress Code:** All Navy, All White, or Navy pants with White tops #### Responsibilities Include: - IV starts and catheterization - Assisting with lumbar punctures - Central line dressing changes - Hemodynamic monitoring and ICP monitoring - Trach care and tube feeding placement - Ventilator management #### Additional Highlights: - Enjoy self-scheduling for a better work-life balance - Work within a supportive team that values excellence in patient care - Engage with advanced medical technology and a committed staff #### Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
