Description:TRAVEL - RN - PICU (645) - Wesley Medical Center - 7P - 7A Unit Information: PICU/ Pediatric ICU / (645) Location: Wesley Children s Hospital Address: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 Floor: Building: Wesley Medical Center Children s Entrance General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Level II Trauma Number of Beds -15 Number of Staff 38 Type of staff: Day Shift Intensivist, RN, Desk Tech, RT, Dietary, Case Management Night Shift - Intensivist, RN and RT Patient Ratios 2:1 Type of equipment General CR Monitoring EMR Meditech / CPN Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PICU RN experience BLS & PALS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. CRRT Experience APHON Pediatric Teaching Hospital Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): IV starts and blood draws TPT placements Best personality Fit: Works well under pressure and in a teaching hospital Patient care experience is a priority Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. *Remember it is a very competitive market any information you can provide will help attract talent.
