Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a 20-bed PICU with a 1:2 or 1:1 patient ratio
• Operate and monitor equipment including Philips monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
• Perform and assist with conscious sedation procedures
• Manage care of patients in respiratory failure, including ETT and HFOV
• Perform CT placement and provide central line maintenance and care
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current PICU RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Post-operative cardiac experience
• Venous puncture skills
• Flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented work style
