**Exciting Travel RN Opportunity in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)** Join a dynamic Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team and make a difference in the lives of our youngest patients! We're looking for a skilled and compassionate RN to step into this engaging role, where you will encounter exciting challenges and opportunities for growth. **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 20 - Staff Configuration: - Day Shift: 1 free charge RN, 9 bedside RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician - Night Shift: 1 free charge RN, 9 bedside RNs - Patient Ratios: 1:2; 1:1 - Equipment: Philip monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps - EMR: Meditech **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of current PICU RN experience - Certifications: BLS & PALS are mandatory - Preferred Skills: - Post-op cardiac experience - Venous puncture capability **Typical Procedures:** - Conscious sedations - Care for respiratory failure (Endotracheal Tube, High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation) - Chest Tube placement - Central line maintenance and care **Ideal Candidate Traits:** - Flexible and adaptable - Helpful and humble demeanor - Strong teamwork skills **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
