Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 2:1. 13-week assignment through January 4, 2027.

Highlights:

• Work in a 6-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit caring for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Orientation provided for floating to NICU or other units within skill set
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient diagnoses including ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, and post-operative care

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric critical care nursing experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• NRP and CRRT certifications preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in ventilator management, CPAP/BiPAP, chest tube care, tracheostomy care, and procedural sedation
• Experience with blood product administration, central line care, PICC lines, wound vacs, and pediatric dosage calculations
• Skills in RSI rapid sequence intubation drugs, high frequency vents, oscillators, and CVP monitoring
• Ability to manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, port-a-cath access, and various drainage systems
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during assignment period
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
