Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required. Patient ratio 2:1. Floating required to NICU or units within skill set with orientation provided.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic pediatric critical care environment
• Comprehensive orientation provided, including 24 hours of unit-specific training
• Work with diverse patient populations including infants, pediatrics, and adolescents in a 6-bed unit
• Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric critical care or PICU experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• NRP and CRRT certifications preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in pediatric critical care skills including ventilator management, chest tube care, CPAP/BiPAP, blood product administration, central line care, tracheostomy care, procedural sedation, and wound management
• Experience with high-frequency ventilators, oscillators, RSI drugs, CVP monitoring, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and PICC/central lines
• Strong pediatric dosage calculation skills
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
