Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PICU RN for a night shift position requiring OH or compact RN license and float availability across two campuses.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) unit
• Provides 1:1 patient ratio care for pediatric ICU patients
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
• Float required to a Summa location in addition to the main campus
• All travelers may float to competent units as needed
• Epic charting experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration, no exceptions
• BSN required as this is a Magnet facility
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including PICU experience
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Skilled in respiratory care and care of ventilated patients
• Skilled in infection control/PPE and wound assessment/care
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU
• No mileage radius rule applies for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Prior employees may be considered for return as travelers if not currently active employees
• Facility has a strict do-not-call policy
