Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU position requiring an active OH or Compact RN license and PICU experience.

Details

• Work in the PICU at a Magnet-designated pediatric hospital
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00-19:00)
• Float required between main campus and Summa location
• All travelers will float to competent units
• Epic charting experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
• BSN required due to Magnet facility status
• Experience with ventilated patients and respiratory care required
• Skilled in infection control/PPE and wound assessment/care
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients, including ventilator management and respiratory support
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Prior employees may be considered for return as travelers if not currently active employees
• No mile radius rule applies for this position
• Facility maintains a strict do-not-call policy
