Description

American Traveler is hiring a PICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring an active OH or compact RN license and PICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) unit
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)
• Float required, including to an additional campus location
• Uses Epic charting system (preferred, not required)

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration, no exceptions
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including 1 year of PICU experience
• BSN required due to Magnet facility status
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Skilled in respiratory care and care of ventilated patients
• Skilled in infection control/PPE and wound assessment/care
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU
• Float requirement applies to competent units as assigned
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Prior employees may be considered for return as travelers if not currently active employees
