Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU position at a Level I trauma facility, requiring PALS certification and multi-ICU float experience.

Details

• PICU setting at a Level I trauma facility
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 1:2 patient ratios
• Required to work every weekend (Saturday/Sunday) plus one weekday
• Floats between ICUs across two hospital campuses, including NICU (Level IV), TICU, PICU, and CICU
• May float to general care areas when no ICU need exists
• Uses Servo ventilators across all ICUs
• RRTs utilized in each ICU

Requirements

• Active Georgia or compact RN license required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Level I trauma facility experience required
• Experience in NICU, TICU, PICU, and CICU settings required
• Experience with typical ICU drips, medications, and vasopressors required
• Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must be available to work either the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation based on staffing needs
• Candidates requesting both holidays off will not be considered
• ASAP starts only
