Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Issaquah, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), 13-week assignment. Weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• 16-bed postpartum unit providing couplet care for vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Comprehensive patient population including GYN surgeries, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery care
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Floating may be required to NICU, Labor & Delivery, or sister campus locations
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient care including normal newborn care, thermoregulation, and glucose management
• 40-hour orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum/mother-baby nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in blood/blood products administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
• Experience with heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate administration
• Competency in postpartum care, post-op care, newborn assessment, phototherapy, and breastfeeding instruction
• Clean background check required (no hits accepted)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
