Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Issaquah, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Floating may be required to NICU, Labor & Delivery, or sister campus locations.

Highlights:

• Six-month travel assignment in a 16-bed postpartum unit providing couplet care
• Comprehensive patient population including post-vaginal and cesarean deliveries, GYN surgeries, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery care
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient diagnoses including postpartum hemorrhage, pregnancy-induced hypertension, and newborn care
• Supportive environment with 40 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum/mother-baby nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in blood/blood products administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, and medication administration including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Experience with postpartum care, normal newborn care including thermoregulation and glucose management, discharge teaching, breastfeeding instruction, and post-epidural management
• Clean background check required; no exceptions for background findings
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
