Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or credential
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• EFM certification
• ACLS or ALS-OB certification
• Experience with fetal monitoring and maternal assessment
• Strong postpartum and mother-baby care experience
• Ability to respond confidently in emergency situations
• Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to mother-baby and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal status and support labor and delivery interventions as needed
• Assess postpartum patients for recovery needs and complications
• Respond to emergencies with calm, effective clinical judgment
• Float to postpartum as assigned
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a 1:1 patient care environment
