Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother-Baby / Postpartum – Albuquerque, NM 87109

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), 36 or 48 hour weekly options available. Weekend coverage required. 13-week assignment (91 days).

Highlights:

• Postpartum couplet care unit with 22 beds and average daily census of 20 patients
• Patient ratio of 3-4 patients per nurse
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience preferred
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, and pharmacy
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Comprehensive orientation provided with onsite training modules

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license required prior to start; pending licenses accepted at submittal)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience preferred
• Experience with couplet care, newborn assessment, postpartum care, and breastfeeding support
• Ability to float within service area (NICU, Labor & Delivery, Antepartum) as needed
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
