Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother-Baby / Postpartum – Albuquerque, NM 87109

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); 36 or 48 hour weekly options available. Weekend coverage required. 13-week assignment with 36 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Postpartum Couplet Care unit with 22 beds and a daily census of approximately 20 patients
• Patient ratio of 3-4 couplets per nurse
• Epic charting system utilized
• Interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, and Pharmacy
• First-time travelers accepted; 2 years of experience preferred
• Floating required within service area (NICU, Labor & Delivery, Antepartum)

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum/mother-baby nursing experience preferred
• Experience with couplet care, newborn assessment, breastfeeding support, and postpartum hemorrhage management
• Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
