Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: October 21, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend required. 13-week assignment.

Highlights:

• High-risk Labor & Delivery unit caring for gestations 34 weeks and greater
• Comprehensive maternal services including OB triage, postpartum care, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery support
• Couplet care and postpartum experience with baby-friendly protocols
• Care for high-risk conditions including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and other complex maternal cases
• Participate in cesarean sections, external cephalic versions, and vaginal deliveries
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and certifications

Requirements:

• Active Kansas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS, AWHONN (Advanced or Intermediate), and NRP certifications required in hand at submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or Mother-Baby experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Ability to float to postpartum units as needed
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
