Travel RN – Mother/Baby / Postpartum | Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Unit: Postpartum (Mother-Baby/Couplet Care)
Location: University Hospital, Columbus, OH
Start Date: 11/16/2026
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (3x12s)

 

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of Postpartum/Mother-Baby experience
  • BLS and NRP required
  • IV Certification and strong IV start skills
  • Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Epic experience required
  • Telemetry interpretation required (must pass EKG exam before start)

Patient Population

  • Vaginal Deliveries
  • Cesarean Section Deliveries
  • Healthy Newborns
  • NAS (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome) Infants
  • Postpartum Readmits (Preeclampsia, Wound Infections)

  • Magnesium Sulfate & Pitocin Administration
  • Newborn Care and Discharge Education

Unit Highlights

  • 40-bed Family-Centered Postpartum Unit
  • Float to Antepartum/MSC units as needed
  • Every other weekend required
  • 36-hour orientation
