Registered Nurse - Postpartum (Contract Position)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, rotating weekends. No call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our postpartum unit for a 13-week contract. The RN will provide exceptional care to postpartum patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions following childbirth.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including insulin and magnesium drips.
• Conduct non-stress tests and manage hyperemesis.
• Provide education and support to new mothers regarding postpartum care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Previous experience in labor and delivery or antepartum/postpartum care is preferred.
