Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Postpartum / Mother-Baby – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), traveler's choice. Assignment length of 13 or 26 weeks available. Six weekend days per contract required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• High-volume, high-acuity postpartum unit with diverse patient population and high-risk obstetric patients
• Standard assignment of 4 couplets with ability to manage census surges
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 57-bed unit with daily census of approximately 45 patients
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and qualifications
• Flexible assignment length and scheduling options to fit your needs

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent postpartum nursing experience required
• High-risk obstetric care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required (hard stop)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, Foley catheterization, and postpartum hemorrhage management
• Experience with substance withdrawal patients required
• JADA experience preferred
• Ability to float to sister campuses (Issaquah and Edmonds postpartum units) and Labor and Delivery for second-hour recovery
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
