Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother-Baby / Postpartum – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), with 6 weekend days per contract. Assignment length of 13 or 26 weeks available based on traveler preference. Floating required to nearby campuses including postpartum units and labor and delivery for second hour of recovery.

Highlights:

• High-volume, high-census postpartum unit serving a diverse patient population with high-risk obstetric care
• Standard patient ratio of 4 couplets with ability to manage census surges
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Daily census of 45 patients across 57 beds with extensive orientation support
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and high-acuity postpartum background
• Flexible assignment length options to accommodate your travel preferences

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent postpartum nursing experience required
• High-risk obstetric care experience mandatory
• Epic charting system experience required (non-negotiable)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Demonstrated experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, Foley catheter care, and postpartum hemorrhage management
• Experience with substance withdrawal patients and cesarean section/vaginal delivery care
• Ability to provide care for infants and adult patients
• Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
